About Sarah Van Overbeek

A Bay Area native, Sarah Van Overbeek is a bright energetic force committed to creating a positive experience for every Cush client. With an approachable, authentic, and highly-responsive manner, she instills the confidence of being in good hands. Since migrating from San Francisco 15 years ago, Sarah has immersed herself in Oakland and the surrounding areas and fallen in love with the East Bay. Her constant curiosity and her love of adventure have generated a vast knowledge about neighborhoods, schools, restaurants, and local retailers.

Sarah Van Overbeek was drawn to Cush because of their strong presence in Oakland and design-forward approach to real estate. She worked as a project manager with the Cush Design team before being a full-time realtor with the Cush Real Estate team. Prior to joining the Cush team, Sarah honed her analytical skills while working for years in the financial industry and then for a local design firm where she was inspired to create beautiful and livable spaces. Sarah's main passion though, is connecting with people — to listen and to learn as much as she can about them. She thoroughly enjoys the process of helping Cush clients find their dream home!

When Sarah isn't meeting with clients you can also find her teaching spin classes at the local indoor cycling studio, Ride Oakland. She has a passion for being in nature, dining out locally, and exploring the East Bay. Sarah lives in the Crocker Highlands neighborhood of Oakland with her husband and two teenage sons.
