Many people commute to San Francisco via the ferry that docks in Alameda.

There are also picnic areas, walking trails, and a bike path that connects to Alameda Beach.

🎡Alameda Point: This is a former naval base that has been transformed into a bustling commercial and recreational center. There are plenty of restaurants, breweries, and wineries here, as well as a beautiful waterfront park.

🎨Historic Park Street District: This area of Alameda is known for its beautiful Victorian homes and historic architecture. Take a stroll through the streets and admire the ornate details of the homes. You can also visit the Alameda Museum to learn more about the city's history.

🚢 USS Hornet Museum: This aircraft carrier served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Now it's a museum that offers tours and exhibits about the ship's history. Fascinating!

🌿Alameda Farmers' Market: This weekly market is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm and features fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and more. It's a great spot to pick up some locally sourced food and support the community.
