Tonga in the Hills | March 1 at 10:30 AM
The Tonga Room at Fairmont San Francisco has been a Bay Area icon since first opening it’s doors 1945. This “kitschy-cool paradise” has served up classic Tiki cocktails and bites for decades, even giving diners the experience of being in a tropical destination complete with thunderstorms and rain in its underground hideaway. Family Nature Adventures: Bees | March 9

Free Children’s Book Day | March 10
On the second Sunday of every month kids age 12 and under can take home a children’s book of their choice for free from the collection at The Bookmark Bookstore, which is owned and operated by the Friends of the Oakland Public Library. Staffed by volunteers. Click here for info.

Oakland A’s Home Opener vs. Cleveland Guardians | March 28
